Concentra is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a Lead Clinician for Occupational Medicine. As a Lead Clinician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading by example, and creating a positive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience.
- Ensure day-to-day execution of medical model, collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case closure.
- Monitor key clinical center metrics, including quality outcomes, practice indicators, and case duration.
- Manage clinicians and support staff, ensuring compliance with APC supervisory requirements.
- Create a professional and collaborative working environment that promotes teamwork, quality, and patient safety.
- Work with DMO to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous clinical improvement.
- Masters use of clinical systems to ensure efficiency, excellent supportive documentation, and charge capture.
- Ensure compliance with individual State Practice Act/Rules and Regulations/WC Regulations.
- Drive patient and client experience metrics.
- Communicate with employers on all new injuries and other significant clinical changes.
- Actively participate in CLT meetings to improve quality, patient safety, and outlier management.
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with center clients and payers.
- Work with DMO and CLT to manage clinical and support staffing levels and proficiencies.
- Promote, cultivate, and exemplify Orange Book values for all center colleagues.
- Develop colleague success through all aspects of the talent life cycle for staff clinicians and support staff.
- Foster an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, and continuous improvement.
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Procedural skills.
- Prefer a minimum of two years of clinical experience.
- Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but we are willing to train otherwise qualified candidates in this area of medicine.
