Job Summary

Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Sales Floor Associate to support our retail operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a well-organized sales floor, and assisting with various tasks to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process incoming merchandise and maintain a clean and organized sales floor
  • Assist with taking price changes and markdowns, and balancing the register according to company policy
  • Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues
  • Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a professional appearance
  • Assist with merchandising the sales floor according to stock levels and company policies
  • Participate in Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
