Part-Time Trainer/Restorative Justice Specialist

About the Role:
The Trainer/Restorative Justice Specialist supports the mission of Suffolk University by building the capacity of others to implement restorative practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other Suffolk University staff to offer training to individuals, institutions, and organizations.
- Provide comprehensive supports to school districts and individual schools.
- Coach and plan with specific school clients to facilitate their restorative justice whole school development.
- Plan and deliver professional development, as well as coach and support districtwide or school-based Leadership Teams.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in urban schools, criminal legal system, and/or social service settings.
- Substantial experience with restorative justice practices in one or more of those settings.
- Experience working with youth and professional development with adults.
- Cultural acuity and cultural humility.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team.
