Job Summary

The Squash Professional is a non-exempt position responsible for developing the squash program, including private lessons and group clinics for men, ladies, and juniors of all levels.

Primary Job Functions
  • Teaching lessons and clinics to adults and children.
  • Participating in squash leagues and tournaments.
  • Assisting with member events and promoting club programs.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
  • Greeting members and guests throughout the property.
  • Understanding and anticipating the needs of our members.
Minimum Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following skills and knowledge:

  • Minimum squash skills of 3.5.
  • Knowledge of or participant in US College Squash.
  • Experience providing private squash lessons/clinics for adults and children.
  • Ability to analyze needs and motivate adults and children.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and anticipate needs.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Confident coach and dependable team player.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and friendly manner.
  • Proficient in a PC/Windows environment.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

This position deals with outside personnel, requires frequent location changes, and involves occasional lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
