The Squash Professional is a non-exempt position responsible for developing the squash program, including private lessons and group clinics for men, ladies, and juniors of all levels.
Primary Job Functions- Teaching lessons and clinics to adults and children.
- Participating in squash leagues and tournaments.
- Assisting with member events and promoting club programs.
- Maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
- Greeting members and guests throughout the property.
- Understanding and anticipating the needs of our members.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following skills and knowledge:
- Minimum squash skills of 3.5.
- Knowledge of or participant in US College Squash.
- Experience providing private squash lessons/clinics for adults and children.
- Ability to analyze needs and motivate adults and children.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and anticipate needs.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Confident coach and dependable team player.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and friendly manner.
- Proficient in a PC/Windows environment.
This position deals with outside personnel, requires frequent location changes, and involves occasional lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
