  • UT Health Henderson is equipped with 41 operational beds, a 24-hour emergency department, and is recognized as a Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center. We also offer surgical suites, advanced diagnostic technology, a maternity unit, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and an accredited sleep center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary scrub technologist for a range of routine and complex surgical procedures, consistently demonstrating clinical expertise with confidence.
  • Ensure the maintenance of a sterile environment, applying aseptic techniques to guarantee a safe and effective atmosphere for all patients, reflecting our commitment to quality and excellence.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program and current certification from one of the following:
    • The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting,
    • The National Center for Competency Testing, or
    • Another surgical technologist certification program recognized by the Texas Department of State Health Service.
  • BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one year of relevant experience
  • Experience in an Operating Room setting
