Job Summary:

Universal Mental Health Services (UMHS) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate PSR Paraprofessional to join our team in Asheville. As a PSR Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs in our Psycho-Social Rehabilitation (PSR) Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily living skills, such as personal care and household management.
  • Support individuals in developing and maintaining daily routines and schedules.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals in achieving their goals.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized plans.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
