Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at PainPoint Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and administrative support to healthcare professionals, ensuring the delivery of quality patient care.
  • Obtain and record patient medical histories, vitals, test results, and other information for medical records, maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Prepare equipment and examination rooms, and clean instruments, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate supplies, maintaining a well-stocked and organized workspace.
  • Prepare, order, and administer medications for patients under the direction and supervision of physicians, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Assist in the transfer of patients pre and post procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Deliver compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families, providing emotional support and reassurance.
  • Ensure compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA, maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
  • Complete annual mandatory training by the due date as assigned, staying up-to-date with the latest protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Medical Assistant Certification preferred, but not required.
