Essential Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, specifically in:

  • Defining project scope, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Leading project teams and managing vendor communications.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks, as well as managing procurement processes.
  • Integrating various project components effectively.
  • Controlling project costs and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
Additional Requirements
  • At least 8 years of direct project management experience.
  • Experience in IT fields such as IT Support, Networking, or Server Management is advantageous.
  • Proficient understanding of structured cabling standards for copper and fiber.
  • Intermediate CAD skills are required.
  • Ability to collaborate with facilities engineering teams to design and modify cabling environments that support both wired and wireless networking.
  • Familiarity with VoIP systems and network design principles.
  • Knowledge of Cisco switches and wireless access points.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Project and other Microsoft Office applications is essential.
Educational Background

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant IT discipline is required. Certifications such as PMP and other IT-related credentials are preferred, along with Cisco certifications like CCNA, CCNP, or CCSP.

Work Environment

This position may require domestic and international travel, as well as long-term business trips. Candidates should be prepared for physically active work, including potential overtime and non-standard hours during project phases. Work may also involve being present at construction sites.
