Responsibilities- Provide Patient-Centered Care: Deliver nursing care using a family-centered approach, prioritizing the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients and families.
- Assess and Plan Care: Conduct individualized patient assessments, communicate care needs to the healthcare team, and develop and implement evidence-based care plans.
- Collaborate with the Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with licensed practical nurses, patient care assistants, unit coordinators, and allied health personnel to ensure seamless patient care.
- Document Patient Information: Accurately document patient information according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in Quality Improvement: Engage in quality improvement initiatives, stay aware of changes, and participate in data collection or auditing to enhance patient care.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate degree with a commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
- Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Certifications: Current CPR certification and willingness to obtain and maintain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON, or other necessary certifications as determined by your manager.
- Typing and Computer Use: Constantly type on a computer and use a phone.
- Sitting and Standing: Frequently sit and stand.
- Lifting and Moving Patients: Occasionally lift up to 35 lbs and move or reposition patients of any weight or size with assistance.
