What You'll Bring

Who You Are:

  • As a Tax Expert, you'll have a minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns, using commercial tax preparation software. You'll possess an active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws and an active PTIN.
  • You're passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of taxation, and you're committed to enhancing our brand by delighting our customers and empowering them to prepare their taxes. You'll possess excellent customer service skills, and you're excited to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner.

What You Need:

  • You must have (or be willing to obtain) a dedicated hardwired internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.
  • You must be willing and available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

How You'll Lead

What You'll Do:

  • In this role, you'll help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products. By providing tax advice, full-service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing product/software inquiries, you'll be working toward advancing our goal of Powering Prosperity Around the World.
  • You'll utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer to the customer using everyday language.
  • This is a virtual, customer-facing role, so you'll use our state-of-the-art video communication software to interact with customers, and you'll document interactions to maintain accurate records.

  • Active PTIN
  • Unrestricted credential (CPA, EA, or Practicing Attorney)
  • 2+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns
  • Commercial tax preparation software experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work 20+ hours per week
