Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and oversee the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of vital underground infrastructure. As an Underground Utilities Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing complex projects, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and delivering results on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of underground utility projects, including water mains, sewer mains, and storm drains.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction crews and subcontractors.
  • Ensure projects comply with safety regulations, local codes, and industry standards.
  • Develop and manage project schedules and budgets.
  • Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed reports.
  • Resolve any issues that arise during construction to keep projects on track.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Underground Utilities Superintendent or in a similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of underground water/sewer/storm construction techniques and safety practices.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites across the region (lodging and per diem provided).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Relevant certifications and licenses preferred.
