Job Summary:

Pennsauken Public Schools is seeking a qualified Speech Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing lesson plans, evaluating student progress, and maintaining professional competence.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops and implements instructional programs to meet the needs of students with speech and language disorders.
  • Evaluates student progress and provides progress reports as required.
  • Strives to maintain professional competence and stay up-to-date with best practices in the field.
  • Collaborates with other professional staff members to assess and support students with school-related problems.
  • Enforces school rules and administrative regulations, and maintains effective communication with parents, administrators, and other staff members.
  • Performs other duties within the scope of employment and certification as assigned by the principal and/or designee.

Qualifications:
  • Endorsement #3462 Speech Language Specialist is required.
  • MUST pass NJ Criminal History Review Unit fingerprinting requirement.
  • New Jersey residency requirements for public employees in effect.
