Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of surgical patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to strict protocols.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, instruments, and supplies necessary for surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Active unencumbered Surgical Tech Massachusetts state license
  • Minimum of two years of current Surgical Technologist experience
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Surgical Technologist certification program
  • One year of Epic experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Strong technical skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
