LPN - Medical Surgical - VNA Job Description

At Southcoast Health System, we are seeking a skilled LPN - Medical Surgical - VNA to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a clinical setting, promoting health maintenance and rehabilitation through teaching, counseling, and collaborative planning.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide competent healthcare to individuals and families in the clinical setting.
  • Promote health maintenance through teaching, counseling, and preventative measures.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Manager to develop and implement patient care plans.
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software and electronic records programs.
  • One year of nursing experience, with home care experience preferred.
  • Current LPN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, subject to geographic area assignment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) & CPR certification.
