Ramp Agent

At Trego Dugan Aviation of Grand Island Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Ramp Agent to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Ramp Agent is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of customer luggage, aircraft, and ground equipment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload baggage, luggage, and cargo from aircraft and airport facilities.
• Operate ground equipment, including tugs and belt loaders, to facilitate the movement of aircraft and luggage.
• Marshal aircraft to and from gates, ensuring safe and efficient turnaround times.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with other airport staff to ensure seamless operations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on ground equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience necessary, as on-the-job training will be provided.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent changes in priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
• Ability to lift 70 pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions.
