We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Per Diem Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Per Diem Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will provide a full range of occupational therapy services in a home care setting, supporting children through Early Intervention and children up to age 18.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, including ongoing assessments, implementation of treatment plans, and teaching patients and caregivers about their conditions and OT treatment plans.
- Confer regularly with supervisor, other clinical team members, and departmental office staff to plan and coordinate activities, consult on cases, and exchange information.
- Meet minimum qualification standards, including a Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy, one or more years of general OT experience, and Vermont Occupational Therapy licensure.
- Hold a valid driver's license and have a reliable, registered vehicle with insurance as required by the organization.
- Have a broad base of clinical knowledge and skills in occupational therapy relevant to home care treatment.
- Traveling is required.
- May work in community-based settings, clients' homes, and outdoors.
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services, demonstrating a commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
- Comply with all organization policies and procedures, protecting the privacy and confidentiality of clients, co-workers, and organization operations.
- Conduct oneself in a safe manner, adhering to all safety practices, rules, and standards.
