- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Facilitate referrals to community resources and services as needed.
- Documentation and Communication
- Accurately and thoroughly document patient information in the electronic medical record.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure timely and effective care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and meetings to discuss patient care and progress.
- Professional Development
- Stay current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines in pediatric behavioral health.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and share best practices with colleagues.
- Education
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in pediatric behavioral health or a related field.
- Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies.
- Licensure and Certification
- Current RN licensure in the state of Nebraska or compact state licensure.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- PALS certification within 180 days of hire.
