**Overview:** Discover Financial Services is a leading digital banking and payments company seeking an experienced product owner to lead the development of a new mobile application feature. This feature will enable cardmembers to submit, track, and manage transaction disputes. As a Principal, Product Owner - Digital Experiences, you will partner closely with various teams to develop a best-in-class digital disputes product that drives business and customer value while ensuring adherence to federal bank regulations.

**Job Description:**
The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders to define the product vision at the team level. They will assess the performance of existing product lines, shape their structure and direction, and develop or assist in developing strategic product plans. Additionally, they will help achieve specific goals for each product by evaluating its performance, identifying innovations, and addressing customer needs to improve the product's performance. The ideal candidate should have experience leading product development and technology teams within the payment services, disputes, or fraud spaces.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Builds Product Backlog: Develop and maintain a clear understanding of product requirements and prioritize tasks to achieve Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Prioritizes Tasks: Collaborate with the product team to continuously update the product backlog and ensure that it remains up-to-date.
  • Aligns with Compliance Standards: Ensure that product features and processes align with applicable Discover compliance and risk management standards.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration and Management, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
  • At least 6 years' experience in product management or engineering in financial services or the tech industry.
