Job Summary:

The Medical Oncology Nurse will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing infusion therapy and other oncology treatments. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer chemotherapy and other medications safely and effectively
  • Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure and BSN degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in oncology nursing
  • ONS Chemotherapy certification preferred
  • Excellent infusion therapy skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
