Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Job Description:

A Pipefitter at Koch Industries will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems in industrial settings. This may include reading blueprints, taking measurements, and drawing isometrics to ensure efficient piping installations. You will also need to assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications by welding and threading joints without errors. Additionally, you will operate tools and equipment such as beveling machines, cut-off grinders, hammers, torches, magnetic drills, welding machines, and Saw-Zalls.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed as a Pipefitter at Koch Industries, you should have:
  • At least 1.5 years of experience as a pipefitter;
  • Basic knowledge of blueprints;
  • The ability to bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding;
  • Distinguishing varying thickness and types of metal materials;
  • The ability to position and clamp together components of fabricated metal products to prepare for welding;
  • Skilled knowledge of pipe fittings, bolts, valves, etc.;
  • The ability to assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications by welding and threading joints without errors.
