Job Summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a skilled and physically fit Delivery and Removal Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering and removing waste and recycling carts and bins to customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a truck and perform delivery and removal duties in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Deliver and remove waste and recycling carts and bins to customers, ensuring timely and courteous service.
  • Complete accurate and detailed documentation of deliveries and removals.
  • Maintain and update work orders, driver logs, and other records as required.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and complete logs as necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the job, including prolonged physical exertion and repetitive lifting, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to read and understand a map and navigate through various terrain.
  • General knowledge of truck mechanics and maintenance.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
Working Conditions
  • Must have a valid DOT Medical Card or be able to obtain one prior to hire.
  • Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
  • Must not have any DUIs or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
  • Possible exposure to high traffic conditions and tight driving areas.
  • Exposure to residential and commercial waste.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable).
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment testing.
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language.
