Key Responsibilities:
- Developing geotechnical field exploration and laboratory testing plans
- Performing analyses for foundation design, retaining structures, and stabilization systems
- Producing geotechnical reports that outline investigations and recommendations
- Overseeing drilling operations and conducting site assessments
- Creating studies, drawings, maps, and specifications
- Coordinating fieldwork with technical staff
- Supporting Project Managers with scheduling and budget oversight
- Engaging with clients and regulatory bodies
- Enhancing technical skills through ongoing training
Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
- 4-6 years of experience in geotechnical design and construction
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in Pennsylvania (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Familiarity with geotechnical design software and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering
Compensation: The salary for this role ranges from $72,207 to $104,262, based on experience and expertise.
