Job Overview

Team members are also responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, effective inventory management, and ongoing process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify customer orders and intercompany transfers in accordance with shipping protocols.
  • Package and palletize shipments using appropriate equipment, ensuring secure handling.
  • Maintain the warehouse environment and equipment, identifying maintenance needs proactively.
  • Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to transport materials to designated areas.
  • Receive and document inbound shipments, adhering to receiving procedures.
  • Sort and label inventory as required for effective management.
  • Implement FIFO practices for inventory organization.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.
  • Occasionally work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Organize items on pallets and shelves, ensuring labels are visible.
  • Identify and quarantine expired or unused items.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the company ERP system.
  • Conduct daily cycle counts as assigned.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by management.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of one year of experience in a warehouse or factory setting.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in English; basic math skills required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Capability to obtain a forklift or lift truck operating license; prior experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with modern business systems, including MS Office and ERP software.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Hourly pay rate of $16.00.
  • Available shifts: Monday-Friday, 5:00am-1:30pm or 6:00am-2:30pm.

Physical Demands:

This position requires standing for extended periods, using hands to handle objects, and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds regularly. Employees may be exposed to various environmental conditions and moderate to high noise levels.

Performance Evaluation:

Employees will undergo semi-annual performance reviews based on established responsibilities and goals.
