Overview:A Molding Process Technician Specialist is responsible for managing multiple facets of the injection molding process. This includes the setup, troubleshooting, and adjustment of molding operations as required, along with the upkeep of machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executing mold changeovers, setup/startup, and operation of injection molding machines.
- Diagnosing and resolving process-related issues to guarantee product quality.
- Troubleshooting machinery, performing minor repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance.
- Ensuring safety is prioritized in all tasks.
- Developing processing techniques for new tools and materials.
- Maintaining processing records for quality assurance.
- Communicating relevant issues to appropriate departments.
Required Qualifications:
- Comprehensive understanding of injection molding processes.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a solid technical foundation in injection molding.
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Willingness to participate in additional training for process enhancement.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and work autonomously.
- Meticulous attention to detail is essential.
Preferred Skills:
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Practical experience in injection molding setup.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with single and three-phase electrical systems.
- Understanding of hydraulic systems and strong mechanical aptitude.
- A collaborative team player with a positive demeanor.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday (Day shift)
- Full-time position
