Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will assist patients with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care, and perform various direct patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role requires a high school diploma and certification from an accredited nursing assistant program.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as dressing, bathing, and eating.
  • Provide basic nursing care, including collecting non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathering vital signs.
  • Perform various direct patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Aid physicians and nursing staff members with procedures as needed.
  • Document patient interactions as needed.
Requirements:
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current/Active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant License (CNA).
  • Education: High School Graduate/Equivalent.
  • Crisis De-escalation training within 90 days of hire date.
