Labor and Delivery Shift Manager

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse Shift Manager to join our Labor and Delivery team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care services during designated shifts, ensuring that patients receive appropriate care tailored to their age and developmental level.
Responsibilities- Assess staff needs and collaborate with the staffing coordinator, Nurse Director, and Administrative Nursing Supervisor to ensure patient needs are met.
- Support the Nursing Department Director on various administrative duties.
- Utilize the nursing process and organizational/leadership skills to coordinate services of staff to patients during the designated shift.
- Two to five years of acute experience or equivalent.
- RN skills as described for the designated unit.
- Two years of labor and delivery experience.
- Managerial experience preferred.
- Current California RN license.
- BLS Certification.
- ACLS Certification.
- Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring AWHONN Certification.
- NRP Certification.
