- Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic procedures and modalities to promote patient recovery and functional improvement.
- Communicate with Healthcare Team: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective patient outcomes.
- Supervise and Train Rehabilitation Technicians: Provide guidance and oversight to rehabilitation technicians to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality patient care.
- Document Patient Progress: Accurately and thoroughly document patient progress, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to departmental quality improvement efforts to ensure continuous improvement in patient care and outcomes.
- State Licensure: Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
- Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
