Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Medication Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medication Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN) to administer prescribed medications to patients and maintain related medical records.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to patients and observe ingestion or administer medication using specified procedures.
  • Take vital signs or observe patients to detect response to medication, and report reactions.
  • Restock medication inventories.
  • Provide direct patient care and ensure resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations.
