Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist to join our team at Sheetz. As a Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our stores and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Physical Security Presence: Act as a visible security presence by patrolling and monitoring activities on our premises regularly to deter potential security threats and ensure a safe environment for customers and employees.
- Loss Prevention: Assist in reducing company shrink by preventing shoplifting and other forms of theft.
- Community Engagement: Regularly meet with local law enforcement to discuss area challenges and update our Loss Investigation Supervisor to ensure a secure store environment.
- Safety and Security Concerns: Observe and report any safety and physical security concerns to ensure a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Build positive working relationships with all assigned Security Operations Center (SOC) and Loss Investigation Team (LIT) personnel.
- Customer Focus: Ensure that Total Customer Focus is incorporated into all duties and interactions.
- Loss Investigation Support: Assist with assigned loss investigation duties as directed.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a security guard, in loss prevention, or a related field required.
- Certifications: CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
