About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Walgreens, where you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting health and wellness in our communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
  • Perform prescription dispensing activities, including compounding and verification.
  • Provide clinical services such as immunizations and disease state management.
  • Assist with pharmacy operations, including inventory management and asset protection.
  • Develop strong relationships with local medical communities and participate in community outreach activities.

Requirements:

  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
