Central Sterile Aide

Penn Highlands Healthcare is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and we are seeking a skilled Central Sterile Aide to join our team. As a Central Sterile Aide, you will play a critical role in preparing, processing, and dispensing supplies and equipment, ensuring aseptic cleanliness and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and process medical supplies and equipment for sterilization and distribution.
• Clean, wrap, pack, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization and supply inventory.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure efficient supply management and minimize waste.

Requirements:
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Over three (3) months and up to one (1) year of experience.
• Experience as a Central Service Technician preferred.
• CRCST and Medical Terminology preferred.
