About the Role

We are seeking a part-time hospital cleaner to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone just entering the workforce or returning to work with limited experience and education.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas within the hospital, including floors, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain buildings/facilities to a high standard
  • Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
  • Notify managers of minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
  • Maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, and management
  • Comply with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures
  • Perform seasonal tasks such as sweeping walks, raking leaves, cutting grass, removing snow
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • No experience required, on-the-job training provided
  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer service experience
  • 1 year of similar work experience

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $17.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly. The pay rate listed is based on market data and may vary depending on individual circumstances.

The shift schedule is rotating, including evenings and weekends.
