Job SummaryMetrics LLC is seeking a highly skilled Business Process Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Operations Security and Preparedness (OSP). This on-site position is based in Washington, DC, and requires an active TS/SCI clearance. The successful candidate will play a critical role in modernizing business processes and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the VA's critical mission areas.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of diverse enterprise-wide business processes and systems.
  • Conduct comprehensive business process reengineering and improvement studies.
  • Develop and execute implementation plans to streamline VA operations and sustain process improvements.
  • Perform gap analyses of current and target organizational processes, making recommendations for enhancements.
  • Collaborate with VA stakeholders to elicit and analyze business requirements, ensuring that new processes align with VA's strategic goals.
  • Develop tools and methodologies to effectively analyze, interpret, and present data for decision-making purposes.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and process documentation for management reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, VA policies, and performance standards.
  • Attend and lead project management meetings, providing weekly and monthly status reports, and ensuring timely project deliverables.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Knowledge of Emergency Management Operations and Preparedness.
  • Knowledge of Security and Law Enforcement.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing process improvements for complex, enterprise-wide systems.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with senior-level stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of VA systems, security, and law enforcement procedures is preferred.
