Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Cloud Engineer to join our team at SHI International Corp. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure using Azure Cloud services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure Cloud, Docker, and containerization technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment. They will also maintain and improve infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible, and ensure secure coding practices and implement security measures within the DevOps pipeline.

Key Responsibilities


  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Azure Cloud services.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Automate application build and deployment processes using various scripting languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
  • Maintain and improve infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Ensure secure coding practices and implement security measures within the DevOps pipeline.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes.
  • Plan projects, determine dependencies, and manage tasks to ensure timely delivery.
  • Leverage Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions.
  • Create DevOps infrastructure solutions to support new applications with automated onboarding using built-in recipes for code reuse.
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and project planning.
  • Manage and configure Azure networking, including virtual networks (vnets), private networks, peering, private DNS, DNS resolvers, and understand their interactions both within a subscription and across multiple subscriptions and on-premises environments.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
  • 4+ years of experience with cloud computing.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Azure.
  • Proven experience with Azure Cloud services and infrastructure management.
  • Strong expertise in Docker and containerization technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins, including setup and management of Controller and Agent Nodes.
  • Proficiency in GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline automation.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and best practices.
  • Strong scripting skills in Groovy, Python, PowerShell, and Shell Scripting.
  • Strong experience with Linux operating systems.

Benefits


  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $115,000 – $170,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
