Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with clients both on-site and in the office to assess their financial requirements.
  • Identify which products offered by Compeer align with their needs for loans, leases, crop insurance, and life insurance.
  • Foster enduring relationships by delivering valuable insights and expertise to assist clients in managing their agricultural operations more effectively.
  • Collaborate with clients to collect and evaluate their financial data.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of client financial standings using internal resources to provide meaningful insights.
  • Handle new loan applications and renewals for commercial and real estate loans.
  • Manage loan servicing requests, including partial releases, payment modifications, extensions, and other related tasks.

  • Pursue new lending opportunities by nurturing relationships with existing clients and engaging potential clients.
  • Monitor agricultural sales and reach out to prospective buyers.

Minimum Qualifications & Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, agriculture, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Relevant experience in agribusiness or agriculture credit is essential.
  • Current state insurance license for crop insurance sales.
  • In-depth understanding of value-added business and agricultural concepts.
  • Proficient knowledge of loan products, services, and credit operations.
  • Familiarity with farm production methods and agricultural business management.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and client service skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve objectives.
  • Strong networking skills with clients and industry influencers.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Valid driver’s license.
