We are looking for a patient-oriented and friendly team player who can work collaboratively with our dentist to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Review and record patient medical and dental history
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized guidance
  • Partner with the dentist to develop comprehensive periodontal treatment plans using non-surgical techniques
  • Take digital x-rays as needed and utilize intra-oral scanning technology
  • Administer local anesthesia and perform laser treatment, if licensed
  • Apply fluoride varnish and chlorhexidine irrigation
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and the hygiene room, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Prebook patient recall visits and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program
  • Current CPR Certification
Experience
  • One to three years of dental hygiene experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Dentrix dental software and Dexis digital radiography preferred
