Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team as a CT Scan Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and experience with computed tomography procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare procedure rooms and patients for CT scans, ensuring proper disinfection and equipment setup.
  • Educate patients on the procedure, obtain informed consent, and verify patient information.
  • Perform CT scans in accordance with established protocols, positioning patients and selecting appropriate equipment.
  • Monitor patient comfort and safety during procedures, notifying radiologists of any issues.
  • Assist radiologists as needed and maintain competence with imaging equipment and software.
  • Run daily pending work reports to ensure accurate exam charging and tracking of errors.
  • Maintain adequate supplies and report stock levels to designated personnel.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Delaware State Certification/License as a Registered Technologist, Computed Tomography
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • 1 year of radiology experience or completion of an accredited CT program
