Key Responsibilities

The House Calls Nurse Practitioner will:

  • Examine and treat chronic and urgent episodic illnesses, minor injuries, accidents, and other injuries or illnesses
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide interdisciplinary care and maintain comprehensive plans of care
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An active state Nurse Practitioners license
  • A current Nurse Practitioner National Board Certification
  • An active state DEA licensure
  • A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • Five or more years of nursing experience, with at least two years as a nurse practitioner
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proficiency in medical instruments and equipment
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer-based data management programs, electronic medical record systems, and Microsoft Office applications
