About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Systems Security Officer to join our team at AnaVation LLC. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our information security system, including researching, testing, training, and implementing programs designed to safeguard sensitive information from any possible breaches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of our information security system, including researching, testing, training, and implementing programs designed to safeguard sensitive information from any possible breaches.
  • Understand the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and execute risk management processes, analyzing risk levels and making recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Spearhead Authority to Operate (ATO) and/or Authority to Proceed (ATP) efforts, making independent recommendations to Government Leads during these processes.
  • Conduct risk analysis from vulnerability and compliance scans, pen testing results, or other audit activity, providing clear and concise status updates to stakeholders.
  • Create written works, including Plan of Action and Milestones, System Security Plans, System Specific Policies and Procedures, Configuration Management Plans, Contingency Plans, and Test Results.
  • Participate in Agile Planning Events, providing technical input and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of work experience or equivalent experience, including experience with the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and security practices found in NIST publications.
  • Experience documenting System Security Plans, conducting periodic reviews of implementation statements, and validating the implementation of security controls within a cloud environment.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools, such as Tenable Nessus and Security Center, and conducting Continuous Monitoring to maintain the security posture of IT systems.
  • Familiarization with cloud computing services and technologies, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and VMware, as well as the Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
Desired Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Cyber program experience within the federal customer space
  • Familiarization with Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe), agile development principles, and DevSecOps methodologies
  • Experience with managing vulnerabilities on virtualized IT systems and assets or virtual machines
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS, Microsoft Azure, CISA, CAP, and SAFe 6
