Ryder is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As a Mobile Light and Medium Duty Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnosis, repairs, and preventative maintenance on non-contractual customers' vehicles.
Responsibilities:- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including tune-ups, oil changes, tire changes, and fluid checks.
- Assist higher-grade maintenance specialists in diagnosing and repairing complex issues.
- Perform basic diagnostics and hydraulic brake inspections, repairs, and replacements.
- Represent Ryder to establish relationships with customers and ensure proper documentation of work orders and repair notes.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Two years or more of combination of classroom training and work experience.
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
