About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineering Technician to join our team at Cepheid, a Danaher operating company. As a Quality Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, while also contributing to the development of our quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor production processes and adherence to quality management system requirements
  • Support quality and manufacturing teams in assessing product and process risks, monitoring real-time on-floor processes, and escalating quality-related issues as necessary
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent with over 2+ years of experience, or technical trade degree or associate degree with over 1+ years of relevant experience, or bachelor's degree with 0+ years of experience
  • Ability to understand and interpret quality management system requirements
  • Highly motivated, proactive self-starter with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in non-conformance process or investigation
  • Experience in 24X7 manufacturing production
  • Knowledge of quality management systems
