At Clark Equipment Rental, we are looking for skilled professionals from the automotive, agricultural, trucking, and equipment sectors who excel in problem-solving and possess the right tools to join our service department as an Automotive Technician. In this role, you will diagnose a variety of issues, from faulty air conditioning systems to fuel system malfunctions, while performing preventive maintenance and structural repairs. We value a strong work ethic and dedication to quality service.

$25 - $32.50 per hour

• Conduct system inspections, test drives, and diagnostic evaluations to identify necessary repairs
• Collaborate with management and fellow technicians to diagnose and service vehicles requiring repairs
• Prepare repair estimates, timelines, and documentation for automotive services
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles, including oil changes, air conditioning servicing, fluid replenishment, and replacing brake pads, spark plugs, and batteries
• Detect and resolve mechanical issues and error codes in the vehicle's electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle repairs, maintenance, and service history

• Proficient manual dexterity and familiarity with hand tools and repair shop equipment are essential
• A strong work ethic and effective communication skills are required
• A valid state-issued driver's license is mandatory
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is necessary
