We are currently seeking a skilled Air Medical Transport Pilot to join our team at Global Medical Response Inc.

As an Air Medical Transport Pilot, you will play a critical role in providing medical air transportation services to our customers. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dedicated team of medical experts to ensure safe and efficient transportation of patients to and from locations and facilities.

Job Summary:

The Air Medical Transport Pilot will be responsible for operating our King Air planes, ensuring aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, and maintaining accurate company and regulatory documentation. Additionally, the pilot will be accountable for maintaining required certifications and ongoing ground and air training.

Responsibilities:

  • Pilot will work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and company requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties.
  • Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and record keeping for shifts, load manifests, etc.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with both air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
  • Pilots are accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing ground and air training.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Airplane Multi Engine Land (C-AMEL) Required. Must be willing and able to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment.
  • Valid and unexpired drivers license
  • Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate
  • 2,500 total flight hours
  • 2,000 Fixed Wing hours
  • 1,000 PIC hours
  • 500 Cross Country hours
  • 500 multi-engine hours
  • 100 night hours
  • 75 instrument (50 actual) hours

Working Conditions:

  • Required to work in outside weather conditions.
  • May need to deice the plane, assist with towing the aircraft and maneuvering in and out of the hangar, prep the plane for flight.

Physical Demands:

  • Required to stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Schedule:

  • The pilot schedule is a 12 hour shift, 7 days on and 7 days off, typically beginning at 0500 or 1700. Sometimes a flight shift may extend past 12 hours, but usually not longer than 15 hours.

Benefits:

  • We offer a competitive salary ranging from $109,000 to $125,000 per year.
  • A 15,000 sign-on bonus after successful completion of training/checkride.
  • A 40,000 retention bonus after a 6 month wait period and a 3-year program.
