Job Summary:

A Banquet Server is responsible for the setup and service of all assigned banquet functions at Embassy Suites Amarillo Downtown. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance and adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
  • Comply with certification requirements, including Alcohol Awareness and Food Safety.
  • Perform preparatory tasks and side work duties to ensure prompt and efficient service.
  • Know how to read the Banquet Event Order and be familiar with the menu of the assigned function.
  • Other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations).
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
