Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, and the maintenance of accurate records.
  • Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers and patients to ensure a positive experience.
  • Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, adhering to Walgreens service traits and standards.
  • Develop strong relationships with most valuable customers, and assist in the coordination of clinical services, including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples.
  • Assist in the maintenance of a clean, neat, and orderly pharmacy department, ensuring that all supplies are stocked and easily accessible.

Requirements

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment, and prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills, and knowledge of store inventory control.
  • Prefer PTCB or ExCPT certification.
