Retail Operations Manager

At Edible Arrangements, LLC, we're looking for a talented Corporate Store Manager to join our team in San Antonio. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth.
As a Corporate Store Manager, you'll have the opportunity to lead our store's overall operations, develop and maintain robust business relationships within the local community, and craft and execute a premium local marketing plan.
Estimated salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
About the Job:
- Lead the store's overall operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and driving sales performance.
- Develop and maintain robust business relationships within the local community and with other businesses to drive sales and establish Edible as a community staple.
- Craft and execute a premium local marketing plan, inclusive of a social media strategy that elevates brand presence, engages affluent customers, and drives traffic to both online and brick-and-mortar stores.

- Leadership and Team Development:
- Recruit, hire, lead, and develop team members, fostering a positive and team-oriented work environment.
- Cultivate and maintain robust business relationships within the local community and with other businesses.
- Operational Excellence:
- Lead the execution of exceptional operational practices, striving to exceed sales and service goals.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety procedures, cash handling protocols, and company policies.
- Sales and Profitability:
- Achieve and exceed sales and profitability goals through effective team management, sales tactics, and performance analysis.
- Adjust strategies as needed to meet and exceed targets.
- Community Engagement:
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships within the local community and with other businesses to drive sales and establish Edible as a community staple.
- Support community initiatives and enhance local market presence.
- Innovation and Best Practices:
- Test and implement new processes, best practices, and operational workflows.
- Provide feedback to corporate leadership on the effectiveness of these initiatives.
- Communication and Performance Management:
- Clearly and concisely communicate performance expectations and changes in business to team members.
- Monitor and analyze performance against key performance indicators and adjust tactics as necessary.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee management of perishable and non-perishable inventory, ensuring accurate ordering and minimizing waste.
- Customer Experience:
- Utilize strong decision-making skills to resolve customer issues effectively and maintain a high standard of customer service.
- Store Merchandising:
- Develop and implement sophisticated merchandising strategies that enhance the luxury shopping experience, ensuring optimal product placement, visual appeal, and inventory management to drive sales and uphold brand standards.
- Marketing:
- Craft and execute a premium local marketing plan, inclusive of a social media strategy that elevates brand presence, engages affluent customers, and drives traffic to both online and brick-and-mortar stores.
- Maintain the brand's image across all platforms.
Requirements:
- Retail Management Experience:
- Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably within the gifting or specialty food industry.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Proficient in managing store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and compliance with company policies.
- Ability to understand and manage budgets, financial reports, and key performance indicators.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Additional Requirements:
- Valid State Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking around.
- Limited to moderate sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift, carry, and/or push objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and scoop throughout assigned shifts.
