Corporate Store Manager Job Overview

At Edible Arrangements, LLC, we're looking for a talented Corporate Store Manager to join our team in San Antonio. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth.

As a Corporate Store Manager, you'll have the opportunity to lead our store's overall operations, develop and maintain robust business relationships within the local community, and craft and execute a premium local marketing plan.

Estimated salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.

About the Job:

  • Lead the store's overall operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and driving sales performance.
  • Develop and maintain robust business relationships within the local community and with other businesses to drive sales and establish Edible as a community staple.
  • Craft and execute a premium local marketing plan, inclusive of a social media strategy that elevates brand presence, engages affluent customers, and drives traffic to both online and brick-and-mortar stores.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Team Development:
    1. Recruit, hire, lead, and develop team members, fostering a positive and team-oriented work environment.
    2. Cultivate and maintain robust business relationships within the local community and with other businesses.
  2. Operational Excellence:
    1. Lead the execution of exceptional operational practices, striving to exceed sales and service goals.
    2. Ensure compliance with all food safety procedures, cash handling protocols, and company policies.
  3. Sales and Profitability:
    1. Achieve and exceed sales and profitability goals through effective team management, sales tactics, and performance analysis.
    2. Adjust strategies as needed to meet and exceed targets.
  4. Community Engagement:
    1. Develop and maintain strong business relationships within the local community and with other businesses to drive sales and establish Edible as a community staple.
    2. Support community initiatives and enhance local market presence.
  5. Innovation and Best Practices:
    1. Test and implement new processes, best practices, and operational workflows.
    2. Provide feedback to corporate leadership on the effectiveness of these initiatives.
  6. Communication and Performance Management:
    1. Clearly and concisely communicate performance expectations and changes in business to team members.
    2. Monitor and analyze performance against key performance indicators and adjust tactics as necessary.
  7. Inventory Management:
    1. Oversee management of perishable and non-perishable inventory, ensuring accurate ordering and minimizing waste.
  8. Customer Experience:
    1. Utilize strong decision-making skills to resolve customer issues effectively and maintain a high standard of customer service.
  9. Store Merchandising:
    1. Develop and implement sophisticated merchandising strategies that enhance the luxury shopping experience, ensuring optimal product placement, visual appeal, and inventory management to drive sales and uphold brand standards.
  10. Marketing:
    1. Craft and execute a premium local marketing plan, inclusive of a social media strategy that elevates brand presence, engages affluent customers, and drives traffic to both online and brick-and-mortar stores.
    2. Maintain the brand's image across all platforms.

Requirements:

  • Retail Management Experience:
  1. Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably within the gifting or specialty food industry.
Sales Acumen:
  1. Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Operational Knowledge:
  1. Proficient in managing store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and compliance with company policies.
Financial Acumen:
  1. Ability to understand and manage budgets, financial reports, and key performance indicators.
Technical Skills:
  1. Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid State Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking around.
  • Limited to moderate sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and/or push objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and scoop throughout assigned shifts.
