Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing high-quality childcare services to children in a dynamic and supportive environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and be able to work collaboratively with a team to ensure the optimal operational setting for children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children's emotional and social development through positive interactions and activities.
  • Prepare and maintain a safe and engaging learning environment, including setting up interest centers and preparing instructional materials.
  • Keep accurate records of children's activities, meals, and medications.
  • Assist in preparing meals and snacks for children and ensure proper sanitation and hygiene practices.
  • Participate in recreational activities and games with children.
  • Sanitize toys and play equipment regularly.
  • Organize and store toys and materials to maintain a safe and organized environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and treat all adults and children with dignity and respect.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in Human Development or Early Childhood Education preferred.
  • Experience working in a childcare environment desired.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Leadership skills and ability to make decisions.
  • Business acumen and ability to understand business concepts.
  • Diversity-oriented and able to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
