We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Martinrea International Inc.

Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and supervising manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality products are produced efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes to improve quality, reduce costs, and increase throughput
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process control techniques and procedures
  • Conduct on-site audits to ensure design and build are aligned with plans and timelines
  • Make recommendations to management for process improvements and optimize throughput
  • Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and address areas for improvement
  • Complete Gate Review Process as designated by corporate, ensuring work is completed within given timelines
  • Communicate engineering changes to plant personnel and integrators
  • Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality standards and specifications
  • Develop and maintain work instructions for operators and verify part flow
  • Support company goals and objectives, and good manufacturing practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CAD/SpinFire software
  • GD&T Training
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and record-keeping skills
  • Knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements and ISO 9001/IATF 16949

Work Environment: 60% office environment, 40% plant floor (PPE required)

Physical Demands: Regularly required to hear, talk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Occasionally required to drive, sit, and walk. Close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and ability to adjust focus are required.
