Sterling Automotive Group is seeking a highly skilled Lube & Tire Technician to join their team in Acadiana. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to advance their career in the automotive industry.

About the Role

This full-time position includes Saturdays and offers a competitive salary of $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate must be able to work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform lube, oil, and filter changes, as well as tire rotations and installations, ensuring vehicles are serviced according to manufacturer specifications
  • Conduct multi-point inspections on vehicles and diagnose problems
  • Maintain high standards of service quality and efficiency, ensuring all work is completed to the highest level of technical competence
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Some hands-on experience performing basic vehicle maintenance is strongly preferred, and experience working in an automotive shop is a plus
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and be at least 18 years of age due to insurance purposes
