Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at HealthMark Rehabilitation. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating residents and short-term patients at our facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive Occupational Therapy plans of care for facility residents and short-term patients.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to Occupational Therapy Assistants in the delivery of OT plans of care.
  • Assist with patient screenings to identify the need for Occupational Therapy services.
  • Communicate progress and any barriers to OT goals with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Complete timely and accurate OT documentation in compliance with regulatory, licensing, and payor requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and equipment.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on OT plans of care and recommendations for follow-up.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure in Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas.
  • Meet physical requirements to deliver OT responsibilities.
  • Experience in a geriatric rehabilitation setting preferred.
  • Successful completion of hiring process and background check.
